definitely some support for a sneaky set up that flies under the SPC's radar. why they still have ohio as a 10% tor chance is a puzzling choice.
Definitely see some potential in GA and SC…someone already mentioned similar situation to March 1984.
 
It's been pretty windy here today. Sun is trying to break through the clouds. Wonder if it will be enough to spark some storms later.

* Until 815 PM EDT.

* At 739 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Boonville, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include... Yadkinville... Pilot Mountain... Boonville... Nebo... Pilot Mountain State Park... Level Cross... and Rockford.

Looks like a bit of rotation on the cell moving towards Hillsborough the last few frames. Let's see if it holds together as moves NW....

Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Cumberland, Harnett, Hoke and Moore Counties until 6:45 PM. This storm is moving east at 50 mph and could produce 60 mph winds.
