Pattern Ablazing August

One of theese is not like the other....
All I was saying is I don’t see a period where significant drought takes over the southeast … I still stand by that ??‍♂️ I would love to hear from someone who believes significant drought is going to take over the southeast during this upcoming “dry period” .. y’all love picking at my words ??

I could see central and eastern NC maybe struggling towards day 7 but even then eastern has had a lot of rain and it doesn’t look to stay this dry forever .. and again I’m talking significant drought for the whole SE .. rest of the SE fairs pretty well even in these scenarios 02B76F87-7405-4BAB-83C3-E2A303A9B96F.png750DBBB3-D204-43E9-8D5F-C580AB733EB5.png

You're a rain weenie like DD is a cold weenie.

I love how Virginia is included in a Southeast map but Tennessee isn't ?
Just stop it. Seriously, these derailing threads and troll comments about trivial stuff belongs in whamby only.

And while we're at it can we take the 98 isn't 98 in Oct but is in May and June stupid argument to the whamby too please, thanks

What about rain wishcasting?

Fall weather looks completely off the table for at least 2 weeks.

Yep as long as we are looking at thisView attachment 88999
Forget about fall. Maybe by the week of the 5th we can see this break up a little. I'd be keeping my eyes glued to the tropics over the next 10-14 door is wide open but with the ridge that strong we might just see a parade into south Texas/ northern mexico

Our first official one of the season?

I'm not here advocating that mega cracked earth no water for cities drought is coming but this idea that it's been wet is weird. Normal isn't wet in the SE it's enough to offset usage and keep the grass green but can easily be erased by 7-30 day dry periods. If we go through the next 10 days with minimal rain I'd bet that D0 will start appearing in the piedmont and sandhills and if we start creeping into mid September with not much precip but plenty of upper 80 to near 100 things will not be ideal
