Got about 0.4 from an early afternoon thundershower, then an evening round of stratiform rain gives me an additional 0.25-0.30; so about 2/3 inch for the day.

August continues to be ablazing, HI today probably just shy of advisory numbers but darn close. Another brutal morning hits you like a brick wall when you go outside.
