We are only 2 weeks from September. That's a reason to celebrate. Yes September can still get hot but you are much more likely to get cold fronts in September.The good news is the absolute hottest time of the year is over. The bad news is, the step downward is very slow until about mid-September. In fact, in late August, the drop off is often only about 2 degrees from the peak of summer. But, we will get there.
