HRRR went from very little rain tonight on the 12z run to 2+ inches here on the 18z run. Gonna be interesting to see how storms develop back west because this area could use that rain tonight.
In addition how any storm complex tonight plays out could also have a role in tomorrow if a boundary forms from the overnight convection. Always interesting to see these things play out.

Yes, two of them were in my classes. It was quite a shock to all around here this weekend when we heard the news. They were very active in the community and well known. I worked on a project with one of them just a few months ago.
