This line of storms was no friggin joke here in Charlotte, straight line wind gusts in excess of 60-65 mph, with 6-8"/hr rain rates at times, my apartment was shaking from the wind. For my friends to the east, take it seriously

Up this way around Lexington, SC, things went smoothly. A brief power outage, but looks like the worst is through here now.

Due to dangerous flooding, evacuate areas near the Temple Hill area from the mouth of the upper Higgins Creek northward to Bowman road, and the lower Section of Rice Creek.

Once this line solidified into this strong QLCS/EMBEDDED bowing segments, the cold pool is propagating the line faster. Charleston WFO has been discussing that in the AFDs overnight
