The heart attack victim was transported to the hospital and survived. The fatality was a male in East Newnan (Smokey Road area) who was killed when a tree fell on his home. This is what was reported by officials at press conference.

That newnan storm was no joke i live about 30 miles away but in its direct path and could hear non stop thunder and could see the lighting through my window, first time ive ever had that happen with a storm that far away. Glad that thing weakened before it got to me i was kinda nervous from the debris ball

Newnan is by far the strongest confirmed(south Bham and Ohatchee) but they also haven't been in the hardest hit areas with the Bibb county tornado yet
