38.8F here, winds have shifted from SE to NE and driven the dewpoint down to 38.0F. Rain is heavy and steady, and hopefully CAD keeps the severe south.

I don't recall ever seeing a solid precip shield from Miami northwest to southern missiouri..never mind an over all precip shield from Miami to south Dakota. And if you look at the relative humidity plots there is a solid band of moisture at 850 to 250mb all the way from well out in the Atlantic to British Columbia. What an Unusual setup/pattern.
