Snow. Some thunder is also possible. High near 33. Southwest wind 8 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.

Tonight
Snow before 1am, then snow showers likely, mainly between 1am and 2am. The snow could be heavy at times. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 27. West wind 7 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.

Started Harvesting oysters..

It just started getting real *cloudy*, AND dern it,, FAT credit card size snowflakes, started just,,, Falling, like crazy, along with heavy Sea Fog..
For about 4~5 hours..

By time the Tide changed, Wind(s) shifted to the NE, It just... Stopped.. Sea Fog dissipated, clouds lifted.. and, that was.. that..

Cool as all to experience though.. My (first) experience in a Micro-Climate..

We went on a day it was low 90s in wilmington, but when we were on the island, it was mid 80s and felt great. So much flora and fauna looking foliage, and so many trees it really is no wonder it was 8 degrees cooler. Very pretty island and almost jungle (costa rica) looking. Felt like you are in a different world, then you drive around the outside of it and see beautiful beaches. I can see how 1200 square feet homes sell for over a million there. Will definately go back.

I say get rid of the homes let it be wild. Not every pretty place on earth needs to be inhabited ! That’s what I say at least. Will visit one day. Better would be visiting a true uninhabited sea island like the ones in Georgia or sc . Bald head island is a shame. Selling million dollar second homes . Smh

I feel ya. I want to visit the jungles of Uganda, Amazons, and costa rica someday. There you will be the only human in the wilderness besides maybe some indigenous or tribal people that belong there.

I was thinking the exact same thing especially considering when staying in south central Alabama… but you learn to not get your hopes up until you actually see snow falling down
