Yep, just went out for a walk and it looks like a heavy dusting of snow.
I feel a Christmas Miracle of a storm or at least a dust up for a lot of folks on this board............. Imma not throwing in no towel until Wednesday night @ 00z ! Merry Christmas!

TWC keeps warming the forecast for next weekend lol, a few days ago it was in the upper 20s for highs with lower-mid teens for lows.

I have seen lake enhancement off of local NC lakes. As matter of fact, NWS did a study on it.
Eric Thomas or Brad Panovich used to talk about LKN enhancing svr storms.

The more I think about it, the more I think lake effect snow could happen here in NC with this cold shot.
You know things have taken a turn for the worse when the southeast starts talking about lake effect snow lolLake Effect snow seems like a legit possibility over parts of NC with the strong winds and the cold temps aloft

Well I'm taking the family to a mtn cabin for a long weekend so I'll likely be without service till sometime on Tuesday. Very excited about the time together! Good luck on this one everybody, try to reel something in for me, even if it's just a cold Christmas!
