I'll be everywhere from Wilmington to Raleigh to Charlotte over the next two weeks. Feels like I'm set up to be heartbroken no matter where I go lol. I lived in DC last winter and was fortunate enough to be around for the early Jan 22 storm. Hopefully I didn't use up my snow karma for the year, but either way. My pfp is what it is for a reason?

I know these numbers don’t mean much because they will change, but it’s still pretty incredible that today is literally the warmest day out of the next 15 days in TWC’s forecast for my area. Really gives truth to power on the validity of this ongoing pattern change that 51 is considered mild/warm.?

This is so stupid. The pattern is going to keep repeating, just like it has since October. Very cold spells for about a week and a half to two weeks and then much above warmth for the same amount of time. It all depends on the magnitude of the delta's on whether we end above or below normal. These maps are useless anyway. We are going to have very high amplitude, wavy and unpredictable jet streams for then next 30 to 40 years.

After the Christmas freeze, we will warm back up nicely for about two weeks. Then we repeat in mid-January. I firmly believe we will have more chances for snow after this. We are going to have to be patient as the pattern reloads.
