One of these days I am going to go up there and experience this...
I remember Greg Fishel using that word “crippling” to describe the already in progress January 2000 snowstorm that crept up on the Raleigh area. I thought he was just throwing a word out there. It wasn’t until last year I realized “crippling” is one of the levels to describe the severity of a snowstorm. I think it’s the highest? Kind of like saying a “Cat-5” snowstorm. I could be wrong but I’m sure I read that last year somewhere.
