Hell yes, we have the JMA, Korean, and NAVGEM looking tasty. The three wise men as I like to call them! You get all three aligned and you lock ‘er in!!!
Do we have any Russian models to look at ? If it’s anything like it’s cold North American brother the Canadian then it will be very cold biased for us !Hell yes, we have the JMA, Korean, and NAVGEM looking tasty. Do you have anyone who you can stay with ? I would make a plan of action just in case . Reach out to that person now .Hey guys and gals, need some advice. I’m 64 years old and disabled from having cancer and it wouldn’t be the best scenario for me to go without power. I live in Senoia which is just south of Peachtree City, Ga. I was convinced last night the ZR was going to be well north of me but it seems to be inching back this way. Do I have anything to worry about?

If you get 8” of snow, I will personally drive down there with my chair, put on my green banana hammock onesie, and pose with my chair! ?️

That’s not coming NW, bud. It only happens when it hurts us. Except Christmas 2010, but that was a Christmas miracle, after all.No one say a word about amplification or mean snowfall just leave it alone View attachment 104543

Not sure. They probably have one, but I don’t know if it’s publicly available.Do we have any Russian models to look at ? If it’s anything like it’s cold North American brother the Canadian then it will be very cold biased for us !
The more money paid out in claims the less bonus I get. I have nothing to do with claims though I just manage the people that sell the policy though.
Sounds legit

TWC Mets calling Euro an ‘ outlier’ right now! I can’t even with them!
Ratings! Southern snow = ?TWC is actually airing weather? Probably only because Atlanta might get something ?

If somehow this storm plays out as shown here it’s got to be the first time in many many years the Nashville area will have had such big snows in the same season let alone the same month.
I’m fairly confident of a major winter storm in our area, whether it’ll be snow or ice is the main question. Of course, it may yet all fall apart, but I think that’s unlikely. Durham versus Garner is likely to look like a different world for this storm. It grinds my gears when people are like rDu iS oUt oF tHiS when they live in Fuquay or Apex and they are halfway to ———- Fayetteville from me anyway.
Johnston and Harnett are not the triangle either. Yes, I’ll die on that hill.
I’m guilty as anyone so trust me, I’m pointing the finger at myself as well but I wish people wouldn’t throw out blanket statements about an entire region.I’m fairly confident of a major winter storm in our area, whether it’ll be snow or ice is the main question. Nothing like conflicting PBPs in the storm thread.
Wouldnt surprise me if the northern Triangle like Durham, Orange, eastern Alamance lose the cold quickly as well.I’m fairly confident of a major winter storm in our area, whether it’ll be snow or ice is the main question. Thanks for the reminder! I miss living in Durham so much during the winter, amazing the differences often between even Raleigh and the Southpoint area.I’m fairly confident of a major winter storm in our area, whether it’ll be snow or ice is the main question. Heck even the Mets do that. Silly to do that for microclimate areas though.I’m guilty as anyone so trust me, I’m pointing the finger at myself as well but I wish people wouldn’t throw out blanket statements about an entire region.
I definitely wish I was still in the Triad for this one. So far, living here versus the Triad had benefited me in exactly zero storms basically. It’s unreal considering the snowfall average differential between here and there is fairly minimal. Are we going to get a storm where it pays off to be further east ever again?Wouldnt surprise me if the northern Triangle like Durham, Orange, eastern Alamance lose the cold quickly as well.
Lexington, Mocksville, Triad area will take much longer.
Since we moved to North Durham, I’ve seen snow accumulate here and watch it dwindle down either Guess or Cole Mill. It’s wild. I thought Northern Meck was a stark difference from Charlotte to Davidson but it doesn’t have anything on SouthPoint to say Bahama. Thanks for the reminder! Greg Fishel said the Triangle would see front end snow/sleet followed by rain and 50 degree temps. Are the warmer ocean temps playing a role in scouring out cold air quicker? I know we are east of the good CAD (damn I miss living in Greensboro), but that is a quick and harsh rise in temps.
