Yep, I only saw one of those this year. Very distinct webs vs Joro spiders. Joros webs are golden and very roughly made part of the time but also have a clear red marking on them. Their living habits also don't match those as mentioned above. They apparently started their spread from somewhere between Forsyth, Gwinnett, and Hall from about 2014 or 15 or so. Never had such a big spider problem until 2017 onward and we occasionally saw the native spiders.

They love stinkbugs so they may end up being a good thing.

No kidding, the stink bugs have been increasingly bad the last 2 or 3 years. Come and get'em I say.

I had them everywhere for the first time last year and luckily they stayed outside. They are also easy to kill with ortho home defense which I bought at walmart.
