Hey if any of you are stuck at home bored, you could always do some met ed for fun, I’m doing basic mesoscale meteorology stuff right now

So, the NHL is going to dive right into a 24 team play-off (no more regular season games), but won't start until late July. The top 4 teams in each conference, instead of getting a "bye", they will compete against each other in a "round robin", while seeds 5-12 in each conference compete in best of 5, elimination format, I guess.
It's all in good timing. Like I've said before before y'all want that more than anybody else. It will happen.

Let's just see what that North Florida team can do if it gets a full season ... but then, let's see what that almost NE GA team can do given the same circumstance ... may boil down to JAX again ...

Probably. We have a ton of cape but the best sfc convergence is to the east of us might be a little more scattered in our area but still a decent atmosphere to get something going.
In other news, my wife got her job back! In the end it was a 3 week furlough. Now I can buy fruit-loops again!

Need to add - That launch and the recovery and all that went in to 15 minutes this afternoon was a real spirit lifter ... thank you America, and thank you private enterprise ... ??

It's impressive how far we've come with NASA and SpaceX partnering together to bring this all together. It's amazing that we now can launch people into space with a reusable rocket that can be picked up with a drone ship.

2020 cannot stay THIS bad all the way through. Things have to get better somewhere down the line.
Man some of these videos I’m seeing are getting disturbing, business owners getting beat to death and stuff, at this point just bring on the asteroid to cap off 2020, my goodness

2020 is still going to have to do a lot more to beat 2019 for me with what happened last year (and not getting accepted into a program I'd like to attend won't do it, getting an injury that's more than insignificant probably would or having another family situation come up also probably would), but this year still sucks anyway.
I want late summer 2012 through spring 2015 back (when I was 17-19). Heck, even 2017 would do. But those years that I named first were so much fun for me, considering that I had just broken out of the very awkward teen years. I was carefree and enjoying life. Probably the worst things that happened in that stretch was getting destroyed by bed bugs when I visited with my NW GA family (which I did a lot more while I was attending a private university for two years) and my not taking college as seriously as I should have back then. Other than that, that was it. Times were good.
And now there's stress.
