It's crazy everything has that classic look
Oh okay, I'm surprised that I haven't heard that one. When I get a chance I'll try to plot some nice maps for that storm w/ ERA-5.
Nightfall approaching now. Storms continue relentlessly. Lots of lightning. One of the best weather day I have ever had.

You are going to have many more out there.
I don’t know if it will be at this level every time. One storm passes by another forms behind it rinse and repeat. Watching that one supercell to my south right now. It is producing loads of lightning. Back to the west more storms are forming and moving back north. It never ends.
Mmmm, I like the fact that the models are possibly showing the end of the season of misery!
The lightning show just doesn’t end. Now that it is nighttime it is 10 times better. This is crazy.
Wish I had put my pre emergent out
If these storms don’t end soon flooding could become very serious. We are approaching 4 inches last I saw in the past 2-3 hours and we are entering the core of another storm.
Light show continues off in the distance. Finally calming down a bit. Been a wild day...

No kidding, this one is developing bit of a hook as well. Incredible lightning show off in the distance too. I’ve been at this for 3-4 hours now. Simply incredible. I would never experience something like this in Georgia. Lol

Seems like we get lightning storms almost year=round now.
We gonna be getting the rain in buckets for the next few days.

I mean honestly even here it was a pretty stormy summer considering many past summers could go many weeks with nothing
And heat can easily run well into September and instead were about to get flooding rains
