As the HOT, Humid, Dry days have set in for now, it made me think, how would I rate the seasons, Favorite to Least Favorite.
I think this would be a fun poll. Favorite to Least Favorite with a brief description why. For me it is;
1. Winter (Dec-Feb) - Holidays, hopefully Cold with anticipation of Snow/Ice, Bowl games and Playoffs.
2. Fall (Sep-Nov) - Cooler days, fall colors, Football, Halloween and Thanksgiving.
3. Spring (Mar-May) - Longer days, new life, thunderstorms, NOT POLLEN.
4. Summer (June-Aug) - Too Hot, Humid, Dry, mosquitos, insects, etc.
Lots of upslope snow showery weather there during cold blasts but NO CAD. Lots of cold rain mix while Boone NC east gets crushed.We are officially moving to Erwin, TN the end of this month!
Goodbye Raleigh
Erwin is about 15 min southeast of Johnson City and is in the mountains. The low point of the valley is at abt 1500’. It’ll be a HUGE change from Raleigh and Greenville NC for sure!

I'm sure summers will also be more pleasant there than in Raleigh.I’ll take it. Better than SE Wake. Looking forward to actual winter with cold temps and more than a sloppy deck coating of snow/sleet like this last winter. haha
