Misc 2019 Banter & Friendly Conservation

My guess would be week 3 blah, neutral PNA/-AO/+NAO/Cool. Week 4-6 transitions into a great cold -NAO pattern that has been showing up for the last several weeks. Too lazy to think about each week. lol.

Week 3 is actually cold with a +PNA/-AO/Greenland Block just like weeks 4-5. Week 6 is near normal.

Sorry, RC, I hate to have to give you this bad news. It was same to colder all of weeks 3-5. :( Man, I hope you can handle your guess missing like this.
No big deal. I miss the stock market guessing game ran by the @No snow for you casino in AmPol every day. I’m used to it! Glad I was wrong. :)

I realized something this week. The last time Atlanta has hosted the Superbowl, there was a winter storm (mainly ice) in 2000. I've seen some global models (particularly FV3-GFS) hint at the possibility of something Superbowl Weekend. I'm not sayin' anything, just sayin'.;) God forbid we do because Atlanta is NOT ready to host the Superbowl this year, the last thing we need is an icestorm to make matters worse.

Why are we not ready?

Good, I hope they cancel the Superbowl so the Patriots can't win it again! America and snow weenies rejoice! Everyone wins!

Should have been more specific, I'm mainly talking about our public transportation. (MARTA) They already admitted themselves they are understaffed from bus drivers to train operators to their own police for the volume of tourists that will be here that weekend. Plus there was the rumor about a strike...

That's fine with me. lol.

I gotcha, yes MARTA is a terrible run service in Atlanta. Poorly training staff, under paid and corrupt as bad as Dekalb county.

Sign me up for a major winter storm affecting Atlanta on February 3rd. I love seeing slow moving dumpster fires and would love to see what would happen if you combined the Super Bowl and a major winter storm in a southern city.

Would be hilarious if this coastal low at day 3 for eastern NC trended in our favor only to get 33 and cold rain

I think we give it one more solid run around and after 2/10. The 2/10 to 3/5 period has been decent for us in the past

Is too early to say my biggest snow ever was in March?
