It's just so hard, knowing the next set of runs could ruin your board rep for the next 6 hours.

I often wonder what the '93 storm would have been like if it happened in late Jan/early Feb. If it didn't happen so late in the season. If it had a good snow pack to the north and a stronger connection to the arctic. I bet the snow would have been around a month instead of a week or so. I know I should be glad it didn't, it probable would have been more devastating. Am I crazy for wanting that to happen in the deep south?
I wonder, could it have had higher snow totals to the east? East of I-85 that storm was mostly a rain event. Even Raleigh got predominantly rain.

If it had a colder source it definitely would IMBY. It was a heavy wet snow hence all the power outages around me. If it was colder on the onset, I would have had 20-24 inches easily. Sure it got colder after most of the precip was gone but it was around 30 degrees for most of the heavy snow IMBY.

Euro sucks. We toss. All bad. Mid March starting to set up for glory. May I start the thread?

If we had a Carolina crusher repeat we would have over 30” of snow just from the extra moisture from higher SSTs.

Analogs have been since the spring o_O. Darn it, that's the second genuine post I've made in here today.
