It's been quite resilient around our parts! Major difference driving from downtown Raleigh up to Wake Forest. Should be all gone by Saturday though.

Back when hurricane michael rolled through, we got hit with the most rain I'd seen in a while. My backyard, which is a floodplain, is right next to a creek that usually runs about 4 feet below the yard. The rain we got with that storm lifted the creek up so much that we had a decent current and about 18-20 inches of water in the yard.

Yep, same situation here. The backyard is mostly flood plain. I've never seen the creek out of it's main channel. Last rain it was about 1.5' below bank. It may take 4 to 5 inches, really, in a 24 hour period to push it over. We shall see. The level drops rapidly after the rain stops. The creek isn't a very long one. There is a rather large pond up stream about 300 to 400 yards. I hope the dam is sound. That could be interesting if it were to be breached.

I think that the old system kept likes on deleted posts, but with the new one, all deleted posts are permanently deleted, removing all the likes.

Actually, I'm not sure if that is it. I had more likes in one post just recently than I do total likes now. It does seem like something is going on.
 
I can still see people I ignored on the thread, not just what they posted.

Hey @SoutheastRidge you must be really bored lately judging by your posts. I think you need to take a beach trip or something since you already brought up the sun angle yesterday lol.

Not surprised it's hailing there with low freezing levels, steep lapse rates and small but I guess decent hgz and I'm ready for summer, baking temps and atrocious dews
