I accidentally came across this song called, "Southern Weather" back when I found this forum last year. It's an alternative punk rock genre. Not really my type of music, but I thought I'd point it out since it's called "Southern Weather" lol.
I follow Anothony just so I can feel smart. I have no idea what he talks about.Does anybody here besides that Webber dude really get Anthony Masiello's twitter posts?
I just hope it's not December's Ember ...Perhaps its time for a December thread soon. December begins in 8 days!
Does anyone else who follows meteorologists on twitter get tired of the political posts? It seems like JB and DT are the biggest culprits. Just stick to the weather or make different twitter accounts.
Been quiet for a while just reading and contemplating our Winter. But, this is a Banter thread and I contend that a lot of people posting in our other threads... November, Winter, etc., constantly Banter. They say the same negative and/or repetitive things time and time again and we have to read through it to get to the meaningful, thoughtful, knowledgeable stuff. I suggest looking at what you are about to post and see if it adds anything to the discussion or is it just Banter. OK, just a thought from a wise old man. Maybe just old.
IMHO, you are, Larry!I think it goes both ways. Some are eternally negative like Mack (but I think he's just playing around for comedy) while others are eternally positive (JB-like). While I appreciate the idea of being positive over negative and it is good to be hopeful, I actually prefer the swing folks in the middle ground for serious wx posts as that maximizes credibility in regard to objectivity. I strive to be that way.
Looking at the surface, unless you are in Texas or out that way, or Florida, it isn't that bad at all.Being one whose profession entails argument (in a civil manner), I know when it's best just to sit down and ask no questions ... yet, something inside of this Curmudgeon wants to argue with this, but will refrain ...
