I think someone is jealous and wishes they were back home in East ALthats right, there can be no bread and milk for what will end up being a glorified rain event
and sorry if I banter in the main thread, sometimes its hard not to

I'm going for yet another cold rain in CLT. Any time we are this close to the transition zone we end up on the wrong side of it, regardless of forecast. If we want snow, the RN/SN line better be forecast down by Columbia.
I love this weather! This sure is some nasty weather. A good 30 degrees colder than this time yesterday. A shock to the system !
Since ATL is barred from buying a sled, maybe I should go do it.
go ahead, but it's the kiss of death. GUARANTEED cold rain in Charlotte if you do
I want one of these from LL Bean.

That model will probably be right! It's a serious thing for a meteorologist to call for accumulating snow in the south. It puts in motion many school closings and other postponements. That has serious, real, costs. If it's not going to be more than "white" rain in regards to travel, why not just ignore any signs of accumulation? So what if the grass and tops of cars are white?Just watched the WC. What model do they use? They had no snow at all for about 95% of the SE beside a spot here and there.
Welcome to the "Other Board". We hope that this becomes your "Main Board"I found the "other" weather board. WOOOOOOOO
You know you've made it when you are the other board! WelcomeI found the "other" weather board. WOOOOOOOO
At one point today, I had one tab open for the current storm in the 'main' weather board, and one tab open for the the same storm in the 'other' board.
Guess which one had more users?
Not bad 'other' board. Not bad at all.![]()
:lmao:Hopefully it floats too.
Did you just transfer the curse up here? LOL WE'RE DOOMED!I'm in Georgia and I'm buying a damn sled you can't stop me! Ha
The other board is now the "other" board for me. A lot more traffic here now. The only thing missing are some mets from the other board. At one point today, I had one tab open for the current storm in the 'main' weather board, and one tab open for the the same storm in the 'other' board.

What if I need a 75-mile shift? If I hear one more person beg for a 50 mile shift I'm gonna lose my ----!!!
It's definitely early for most everyone in the southeast and I would not be surprised to see it repeat again next month. Maybe it would be a CAD setup instead but at least we have something to track.Truth is now becoming evident. It's not going to snow in Atlanta. It's too early/too warm/wrong season. We needed this setup in January. I hope we can repeat the scenario before mid-Janauary. Good luck to those of you to the northwest/southwest of me!
TMI : LOLIf I hear one more person beg for a 50 mile shift I'm gonna lose my ----!!!
Not sure why you think this is over for your area. Your forecast shows 1-3 inches.Don't get me wrong, It was a great one to track! Good times!
Though I'm sure the Euro will suck me right back inI am officially punting this turd. Another win for the central and western piedmont.
Euro was very borderline with 850 temps, short range models are pulling the snow line northwest today, 2m temps are too high on every model. I think the snow accumulation maps are way off. I've seen it many times over last 3 years. Not sure why you think this is over for your area. Your forecast shows 1-3 inches.
