Ban me, but ...
The internet provides pretty pictures, and nice looking model maps (sometimes), but why the hell haven't folks figured out that no matter how refined and sophisticated things are, until inside 72 hours, it's all pretty much a Magic 8 Ball (that goes for winter, 'Canes, severe ...) ... models are (IMHO) good for one thing only out past 3 - 4 days, and that's studying trends and looking for consistency, but models are just that - models of what data they have ingested and it's never 100% of all the variables ...

Something tells me winter is over. It's the trolls I think or the gloomy but realistic forecast of a front loaded winter. One big storm like last year followed by some cold and then torch until spring. Then when we get to spring, we get cooler weather. Hopefully this isn't the end of winter, but I feel there are going to be a lot of Fs on the winter report cards for some.
 
I'm ready for model madness to end and spring to begin. Looking at 12" of crimson clover in the garden that needs to be plowed under, the blueberries need pruning, and I need to get an order in for seed potatoes. Moving on.

I'd be tempted to give it an A if we torched the rest of the way out and my heat stayed off

oh its definitely getting an F from me if something doesnt change... a winter of cold rains after Corpus Christi got 6 inches of snow is just not good lol

I'm not so convinced it'll be over in 2 weeks but I certainly hope if it's not going to snow just warmup already
 
:DMaybe if we all start not wanting snow and hoping models show narry, it will snow like crazy. Sorta like when some on here changed your avatars to hot girls.... Whatever happened to that? Maybe Ya'll bring that back! Lmao! And I'll even change mine if it will bring the mojo
 
I don't mind cold and dry... if no snow, I want record cold, for the pleasure of extremes.. I get enough heat and humidity in the other half of the year.

The heat melted the snow chances though lol. No snow happened after that one event, so how about we just change our avatars to refrigerators, freezers, icicles, ice cubes, and things cold?
 
The south got their big snow for the winter. If you missed out, tough luck. Ive been on the losing end many times and it sucks but life goes on. We should all be thankful we even get opportinities for snow at our latitude. Places of similar latitude such as LA and Phoenix hardly ever get snow. Im speaking specifically for the deep south, south of 35 North latitude.
 
finally got a night off, just kicking back, enjoying some dark beer and watching some 'cold porn'. Life is good...
