2014-15 winter was the absolute worst around here. Feb 2015 in particular. So cold, lots of moisture and practically everyone had snow except folks south of I-20.Anyone else on this forum knows what it's like to watch winter storms dance around your area all winter long, while your location just can't buy one? In other words, a winter in which it's basically like you're under a dome? It happened in my location (Nashville) in winter 2008-09 and 2013-14. I imagine everyone in this region has experienced the dreaded snow hole.
I wanna laugh but seems Inappropriate. glad the pooch is ok sorry bout phone.Long story short the wife almost ran over the dog i had my phone in my hand and I went to snag the dog before the tires did . my phone was sacrificed for an old dog that can hear and has trouble seeing
Larry,An historic storm in parts of the SE US and yet still so much whining. Man this gets tiresome to hear. For those who got nothing wintry (like me as usual but I'm not upset at all), it isn't as if there's some entity that controls the weather. If there was, that would be different. It is essentially random (well that's my belief anyway). And it is only weather for goodness sakes! Nothing tragic. And I love snow! And then those who whine after actually getting some snow but not as much as someone nearby are too much imo. This is not a contest. And then why is it so bad if a location with much lower average annual snow got more than you this time? If I were to get snow in the next few years, I'm going to be tempted to not even post about it. Why even post about something like that when so many feel mad because they think they got robbed?
End of my vent.

My favorites would be the 1/2000 ice storm, the December 05 ice storm, the February 2016 ice storm the January 2011 snow and this storm.I think it is the top for me. While obviously '93 was a bigger storm, I didn't get to track it and I just remember pieces of it. I'd have to leave it out. My top five.
1. 12/17- 9 to 10 inches
2. 1/14- The Snow jam - 4 inches
3. 12/10- White Christmas - 3 to 4 inches
4. 2/09 - 3 inches - broke a seven year drought of any snow over 2 inches
5. 12/00- 4 inches
