It’s over here not a flake today. But I did have sleet mixed in from 8:30 last night until 10:00 this morning. But melted on contact. 1.63 in the rain bucket.

yea, it was a soaker. what could have been if the mid levels were right.
Never forget models showed snow in Augusta GA 3 days ago and today you had to be well above 4,000 feet to see snow falling. No storm is safe. Ever

The one time we get a death band deformation zone to set up over us.. this thing barely moving too.. this would have been a magical band. 
Pouring down rain now, BL not even close. Sad. Rates will not overcome.

Which model had this that we ignored? This is total snowfall. I guess ULL's can "Surprise" us after all.
Back in the 80s this would’ve been a 6-12” boardwide paste job. ?
In all seriousness, I assume that map doesn’t capture what happened in the highest peaks (I’d assume Mt. Mitchell, etc. got slammed?), but that’s still a pretty catastrophic map. Yikes.

Yeah I have seen a few maps showing radar estimated snowfall that look a bit better but accumulation wise there just wasn't much going on with this one because of how wet the snow was
