It’s over here not a flake today. But I did have sleet mixed in from 8:30 last night until 10:00 this morning. But melted on contact. 1.63 in the rain bucket.

That’s right. Still fun to get away. 5 min drive from your hotel and you were in the snow. Been a barren winter. That’s a big W ?Headed home tomorrow, it was a fun little trip. Didn’t see anything in Maggie Valley at the room but 6k ft high it was absolutely beautiful and snowy
That’s surprisingLooks like it's game over here. Just not quite cold enough here.
Snow hit a brick wall at I-77. Still just a cold rain. That’s surprising
I think I got a couple flakes mixing in right now but mostly rain.Snow hit a brick wall at I-77. Still just a cold rain.
Will be glad to see this winter put out of its misery. Rain just about over here. 33f.I think I got a couple flakes mixing in right now but mostly rain.
Maybe? Sure does look like it in the street light. Nothing when I inspect the flood light stands out
Having said that there is a pretty recent mPING with rain and snow at Sparger and 85.Maybe? Sure does look like it in the street light. Nothing when I inspect the flood light stands out
yea, it was a soaker. what could have been if the mid levels were right.Doppler estimate of 3.5 inches of rain fell here from this storm. Big overperformer in the rain department.
It was worth the 10 drive for me lolNever forget models showed snow in Augusta GA 3 days ago and today you had to be well above 4,000 feet to see snow falling. No storm is safe. Ever
Back in the 80s this would’ve been a 6-12” boardwide paste job. ?Which model had this that we ignored? This is total snowfall. I guess ULL's can "Surprise" us after all.

Yeah I have seen a few maps showing radar estimated snowfall that look a bit better but accumulation wise there just wasn't much going on with this one because of how wet the snow wasBack in the 80s this would’ve been a 6-12” boardwide paste job. ?
In all seriousness, I assume that map doesn’t capture what happened in the highest peaks (I’d assume Mt. Mitchell, etc. got slammed?), but that’s still a pretty catastrophic map. Yikes.
Beech had 2” and Sugar came away with 4”Yeah I have seen a few maps showing radar estimated snowfall that look a bit better but accumulation wise there just wasn't much going on with this one because of how wet the snow was
Not great. ?Beech had 2” and Sugar came away with 4”
Odd
NC mountains underperformed badly.Which model had this that we ignored? This is total snowfall. I guess ULL's can "Surprise" us after all.
