Wintry 1/5-7 Winter Weather

Got an occasional tiny flake around this afternoon. If you weren’t outside, you wouldn’t notice it. Thought the mPing reports upstream to the west & north were BS. Temp down to 33.4 with howling wind. Nasty raw day for sure.

sky has spit a few flurries all day, temp has been 29 since about 1000. Nothing else going though here in Huntsville, AL.

Some snow bands just north of Mount Airy. Looks like some wind snow for the foothills tonight and maybe northern Piedmont

I'm in Southern Pitt Co and can confirm the tiniest of flakes. Could easily be mistaken for dandruff, but I was wearing a hat.
