Thanks, but not always! lol. First I've had since Jan. 2022 best I can remember...Enjoy my friend! You always find a way to score.
Yeah but I live literally 10 miles away from the escarpment. Downsloping kills me while your area has a chance for redevelopment. And just like yesterday I was at banner elk and it went from snow to freezing rain in 5 minutes after the precipitation began. You're far enough North and east to benefit from CAD.Thanks, but not always! lol. First I've had since Jan. 2022 best I can remember...
Can confirm Tuscaloosa flurries! Very sporadic and thin, but I did see some flakes.Snowing/Sleeting in Haleyville, Tupelo and even Tuscaloosa this morning
Beautiful! Enjoy!View attachment 160308
On the board finally in coastal Delaware. About 8” so far and still coming down
I truly cannot understand the WWA from NWS HSV for all of N AL. It is below freezing right now, interestingly, but unless things change I can't see what on radar or modeling would prompt this advisory.
In
addition, with the expected temperatures continuing to drop below
freezing further east with time slick conditions from refreezing
of already fallen rain or snow that melts after hitting the warmer
ground will cause slick conditions on area roadways. Thus, have
issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our southern middle Tennessee
counties and all of our Alabama counties through 7 PM this
evening.
Thanks, I did read the advisory of course. I guess they are using the tools available to warn the public, even if the anticipated issues are very isolated. We received nearly two inches of rain last night but the roads are already dry. They have issued it because of the precipitation on the roads being frozen/freezing.
