Yeah so much for that low level dry layer...Can confirm we have dandruff falling here in APEX... WOW I just woke up too DONT EVEN HAVE TO SQUINT ... and it’s this early in the morning .... where’s my virga ???
Yeah there might have been a couple slush flakes mixed in but rain is wet and wind is cold I didn't feel like waiting forever.Damn it was really that close, just across the county border
I wanna be under those yellow returns! GIVE ME A DUSTING OR GIVE ME DEATHYeah so much for that low level dry layer...
I think the “back building” I was mentioning before was really just the radar seeing the snow finally as it got into range of the radar ... you can see the same type of thing if you use the TCLT radar .. looks like flurries there as well but if u go to another radar site farther away ... it sees nada ??Looks like it’s snowing along and west of 40 in Johnston County based on p type algorithms which are arguably decent when you’re really close to the radar site

Some light flurries fell last night while you were asleep in your neck of the woodsWhen should we expect to see a few snow showers (if any) form?

I’d imagine there’s at least some light snow under there the radar beam is overshooting some of those snow showers.Hopefully this develops into something a little more substantial.
I'm just east of 40 in Johnston, mainly rain couple flakes here and there but wind has kicked up again.Looks like it’s snowing along and west of 40 in Johnston County based on p type algorithms which are arguably decent when you’re really close to the radar site
