It didn’t hit me so I know it was a very small cell. Bet it put down some quick rain though

Same here with a few puffy low level cumulus below itThis stratus might hang around until next summer
I
My residence is one place that is an exception to your observation. I guess I'll take my .46 inches of rain that fell yesterday and be happy with it. It does seem lately that the same areas get rain over and over and the rest of us are high and dry.Its raining in the same places as yesterday and last Friday, it's really incredible
There's always tomorrow, right?
Rainy days, what's that?Yep but it just wont happen again, I have never seen it so hard to sustain storms around here in the summer. Sure we have had some rainy days but its just seems different this year with the seemingly great setups just not doing nearly what they should.
Skipped right over me

I use to lose my mind when I heard some old timer say dumb stuff like "thunderstorms don't like crossing the tar river".Its still raining in the same places this morning

Yea radar is…interesting. We got slight but definite WNW movement this side of 95, but coastal areas near the sounds moving NE and noticeably quicker.Dumped 1.4 out of gauge from last night. Over 4.0 for August. Future radar shows counter clockwise flow today
Amazing how you can have drought/dry area and have localized flooding in the same region. Thats how it is hereWelp another goose egg. Gonna be the driest August I can remember
Welp another goose egg. Gonna be the driest August I can remember
I just don't think it rains here anymoreIf we want to hold hope for the most faint opportunity tomorrow looks like a less impressive version of today
Man, we can’t get rain, storms, or fog to verify. Need to turn that around in the next 5-6 months when we’re trying to get winter products to verify.Had a SWS for dense fog this morning, with bright sunshine, it can't even fog around here.
We had a good August. All this running water gets the Gators excited. This was one that was filmed at Greenfield lake in Wilmington this weekend. Ive got pictures of him before. Gators really like to move around when the waters are up.So looks like gonna end August with .66. I can't find any info anywhere of a drier August here

The relentlessness of the central US ridge is just unbelievable. I'm kind of tired of the same pattern, tbhThe first long duration rain from this nino is going to be oddly enjoyable.

View attachment IMG_1942.jpegHeading to Switzerland next week, forecast is 50s for highs and low 40s for lows. Taking a cable car up above the snow line. Remind me of this when I’m pissed at a threat this winter
