This is what that storm looked like between Acworth and Woodstock. It lost most of its rotation by then and became more of a bow-like complex. It probably had really nice structure near Rome as I could see what was left of striations and mid-level inflow bands. View attachment IMG_5853.jpeg

We've had 8 inches of rain this month(at least some places in the city have had more) and yeah the flip is gonna be absolutely horrendous

Never seen such a small storm produce such a picture perfect tornado. Freddy's driven through it twice. Might have to go back in the video to see it.

The tuesday severe threat is one of the better ones you will see this time of year without tropical systems involved. Probably going to send a real mcs down the east coast

Gonna ride the RDPS for this afternoon. Roofus is is way west ( don't see that shaking out, but who knows , maybe its right today ) . HRR was west but getting lined up with everything else, now ticking back west at 9z

Raleigh AFD is all about USHWY 1 and east. Going with old school meteorology and the clouds over this way putting a damper on anything. Can't find a Cam that shows that, but makes sense to me what they are saying. Man v/s models today! who you got?
It's interesting. Hard not to think left of the track of the mcv coming out of KY/WV is the place to be where better instability can be realized as the debris is pushed to the right.
Really fascinated to see how this one plays out. Contrary to my east>west hunch last night I would tend to agree with SD's assessment

It's hard for me to not be somewhat bullish when the jet looks like this, even some of the more cloudy/light rain runs have decent elevated instability for later in the afternoon/evening
That's a well populated area too and close to when I go every February to visit in-laws. Turned into a waterspout once it hit Lake Winnebago.
NWS initial rating is an EF3, 1500 yards wide, on the ground for 12 miles.
