Misc General Banter Thread

I had no idea the Georgia house had passed legislation to move Georgia to Atlantic time as a work-around for daylight savings. The time change definitely needs to go away regardless of which standard they go with. The number of daylight hours doesn't change with the construct of time.

I saw this map on Facebook last night and busted out laughing and told somebody good luck with that... I mean ours is pretty bad too but yikes

I don't have a dog in this fight because I work nights anyway but the amount of stupidity online is completely mindblowing. I had to just resist the urge to reply to some of it because it's so ridiculous what people believe. Like I get it... Getting dark at 4pm sucks but this is not the answer. The same law was repealed in 8 months in 1974. I don't think we're ever gonna stop switching unless they do standard time. Til that day happens not a chance this lasts even if they pass it

I also don't really think the Senate will do it anyway there's already been a lot of opposition rumored for this very reason.... FB_IMG_1784133207204.jpg
