Soon it will be 150 degrees everyday
The rain is coming down at my house near Lake Wheeler. I went to Goldsboro earlier this evening and ran into some heavy showers coming back. I didn't have my hopes up for any in my neck of the woods but it is coming down hard here.

Yep got blanked here as well....16 days without rain. 70% chance on the grids tomorrow night.....but today was 50% and nothing much in the area.
Congrats, does not rain at my house any longer
Day 4 of being under a heat advisory, and we haven't hit June 15th yet. Awesome.

Really muggy out there this morning....if we can't score some widespread storms today we are literally cooked lol.

I got .83 inches in the rain gauge from yesterday's evening pop up thunderstorm near Lake Wheeler in Raleigh and it was welcome. Fingers crossed that we'll get more rain later today and tonight before rain chances go back down again until Friday. This Saturday is my wedding anniversary and chances for rain look good statewide. I'm not going to let that put a damper on the trip I had planned to Mt. Airy and the surrounding areas.
If it weren’t June, this is a pretty good look

Dewpoint is 76.5, temp is 81, feels like 91. This is challenging if you've got to be out in it.

4:29PM: Rotation has strengthened with our storm in Tyrell County. The Gum Neck community should be alert for a possible tornado/waterspout. Alligator River The Vicinity Of Frying Pan and The Vicinity Of Gum Neck.

Basically only rained enough to get the ground wet and that's it. Kind of annoyed by that.

You are about to get hit with these storms. I have not had a drop today and am not expecting anything up here.
Rain came to Belews Lake and it poured like you wouldn’t believe, forcing an early end to my boating day. Of course, it did not rain at my house. Rain is impossible in the Piedmont Desert.

There is hype about later this week, but I just do not see it. Even a TV met is hyping it up, but it isn't happening. South of I-20 maybe but not for upstate SC or almost anywhere in NC.

All the storms have been to the north and south of me.
Pretty wild there has been so much spread in temps in RDU vs CHA. RDU with multiple days of 100+ while here it hasn't gotten above 93 yet. And it keeps going for the upcoming week as well. Climo is typically within a degree of each other in the summer months.
