0.82 was the final total here. Basically a dent in the drought but a good soaking at least
Probably destroyed the dry spell here. Radar estimates 2-4" fell last night.

Doesn't matter, the sun is out now.It's been cloudy all day here. Doubt we have any storms later if we don't get any sun.

THROUGH 630 PM EDT...
At 600 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Newton, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Newton, Maiden, and Startown.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
