Complete idiot of a moderator. Hope he's reading this comment lol. Maybe he can learn some lessons in moderation from how we treat our members. You don't go targeting a member just because you have a tag that says moderator. He needs to ban himself.
 
Wonder why schools are so slow to close compared to the non event a week ago ? This has potential to be much worse than that event. But with that last "event" schools closed way ahead of time.
 
I know southern states arent used to a lot of snow but one would think it would be easy to prepare for less than an inch of snow. Is it really that difficult for road crews to handle a small amount of snow ? A state of emergency for a half of inch snow is pretty laughable. I guess half an inch of snow in the south is the equivalent to 2 feet of snow up north ?
 
There is a good educational display going on over the 16/17th snow thread. Those mets' debates need to be encouraged and enjoyed. Even if it is considered a debate, there is something the average weather fan can learn from them. I understand the board doesn't want an all out argument for obvious reasons, but their conversation is a great learning tool.

Lol I have stuff to do for school and yet I've been back and forth, chasing 0.5-1 inch of snow.

What am I doing?
 
Not going to lie, I'm pretty annoyed that the same areas in TN are getting hammered again and everything just trended bad for South Carolina.
 
OMG @ the IMBY questions in the storm thread. Damn near unreadable. New members should be forced to take a basic model class, or wiki at the least! Rant Over!

The models are really messing with us here in N AL. Trying to reel this one in! I guess I'll have a good idea in about 8 hours what's going to happen.
