I just hope when this pattern flips back ~4/25-5/15 ish we go cool wet not NW flow cool and dry
I just run them RPM’s above 5k and she’ll usually blow mild. I can live with mild

Just like living in the South! You either have cold air and limited moisture, or warm air and 3” of rain in a day! Sucks to be here! Now we have 5 hot months to get through !
I think the cold is still on the wrong side of the planet!?? Didn’t Antarctica hit like -110 degrees last week or something?? Waiting on the slosh!
Yeah, that shocked me! Think we blew the forecast low by like 4-6 degrees there! And we clock a later than average last freeze despite a general torchy start to spring!

That's gonna get a whole lot worse if the gfs is right with its precip forecast. Pretty pathetic for the entire SE and will accelerate this drought quickly.
There's already been several small woods fires in SE North Carolina.
36 and some scattered frost, maybe this was the last one for a long time

Drought will be over and in reverse at warp spedd in 6 months. Till then have a garden hose handy this growing season
wouldn't be surprised to see whiplash that's essentially what last spring/summer were like in richmond

WRAL is giving the Triangle a 30% shot at a thunderstorm tomorrow. I've got fingers crossed that I might be one of the lucky ones who gets some rain. Outside of that, welcome to the Sahara for the next ten days at least.

Something along the lines of what happened in 2002-2003. Much of 2002 was very dry then turning very wet in September and well on into 2003. Hopefully the change comes earlier this time.

This -NAO showing up late month probably has legs tbh. I’d bet the transition having some boundary esque severe wx setup as cyclonic flow builds as the trof under the block develops
