It won’t stop snowing. Been on and off for 30 hours. We will push over 4 inches easily. What a win for up here
I was worried Athens was getting nothing. Crazy the radar shows nothing but you have that much snow!I'm still getting decent snowfall in Athens, Ga even though the radar shows nothing here. I haven't measured but it looks like 4 -5 inches currently. Temp has been around 25 for a bit.
I think the absolute highest measurements will be somewhere in Davidson Rowan or Randolph county
I know some areas around lake Oconee had around 1-2 this morning. I’d say I’m around a trace to a dustingThat probably is attributing to why I'm like "yeah idk." I have areas that have good coverage and the cars are covered like it's snowed at least close to an inch, but I wasn't able to find an area that would measure impressively.
Road outside is just wet, but I imagine the Calhoun Expressway is closed.
I don’t think we’re done yet. We won’t end up with 6” but that slot is going to start filling in soon. Especially in western Wake County.Raleigh is busted, absolutely cooked. The dry slot is overwhelming
the snow growth zone is so low to the ground the radar is missing most of it. By the time macon or ffcs radar beam gets here it's up around 7 to 8 thousand feet.I'm still getting decent snowfall in Athens, Ga even though the radar shows nothing here. I haven't measured but it looks like 4 -5 inches currently. Temp has been around 25 for a bit.
Looks like the state of FloridaTalk about being on the border of the cutoffView attachment 192792

Look at the vast area of dryness!! From Wilmington to Raleigh to Hendersonville.Saw a few flurries, it was cute…but clearing skies for Raleigh looks imminent…
I see GSO still getting hammered…it’s what they do.

From where we started, it’s disappointing to me as well. I’ve just been through so many of these that I started seeing the writing on the wall a few days ago, so my expectations were lowered.Tbh 2-4” is still very disappointing to me. Maybe that’s just me being from up north lol
Holy cow, I think yall got some localized banding luck because we do not have that here.I'm in W/NW Montgomery county. Just measured 7" accumulation
11” report near the Davidson-Rowan county line where it’s absolutely puking
Before the sun goes down take a look at the clouds whizzing by and the flag on the tower cam. 32 miles offshore of Cape Fear.
