MHX still hasn't pulled the trigger on blizzard warnings for the outer banks. Sure seems like as good a time as ever to call for that warning. Winds gusting to 60mph, 8-12" of snow forecast with locally higher amounts.

They are expecting a heavier/wetter snow, so I don't think they will technically meet the visibility requirement.

Saw a report from Dobson / Elkin are of 5.0” @Bigfrosty ca you verify that? That’s insane not even really being in the banding. Some Family used to live between there and Mt Airy…. Absolute All Star Level area in every event

Seems like it’s struggling to head south of Lauren’s County SC. Surely that is about to change any minute (the heavy stuff)

Not even a dusting here in north Roswell with barely any flurries at this time. Seems like the dry slot couldn't have positioned itself more perfectly over the regions that the short range were showing to be getting 2-4 inches at this time yesterday evening. Praying for at least a coating or even just an actual steady snow for a period as the system departs, but becoming increasingly more unlikely. This is probably going to be one of the biggest winter storm warning busts I have experienced unless things drastically change in the next hour or two.
