It's an easy forecast for upstate SC. No snow with this system and no snow this winter in this area. Just cold weather that nobody here wants to see.
I've enjoyed the cold and walking on frozen ponds! It's like 80s winters againIt's an easy forecast for upstate SC. No snow with this system and no snow this winter in this area. Just cold weather that nobody here wants to see.
This cold is useless to me. I'm ready for it to take a hike.I've enjoyed the cold and walking on frozen ponds! It's like 80s winters again
Yeah, it's overI just had a mini melt down in the threat thread for next week. I think I might need a break soon.
Lol I think I had one yesterday. Taking breaks is a good idea for a short time.I just had a mini melt down in the threat thread for next week. I think I might need a break soon.
Great inputYeah, it's over
It may not be over for MS, TENN, Al, or NC, but for the SC upstate he is right. It's over for us.Great input

Lol I see you left out GA. It isn't over yet.It may not be over for MS, TENN, Al, or NC, but for the SC upstate he is right. It's over for us.
Sorry about that. The north part of GA does have a chance with this.Lol I see you left out GA. It isn't over yet.
What a dumpster fire on top of a sewer plant for us!I see the NAM gives the eastern Carolinas a decent storm. Nothing again for the upstate.
Lynyrd Skynyrd... What's your "NAM" little girl, what's your "NAM"I feel like the NAM is getting ready to troll me again. Wasn't far from what I'll gladly take with the cold and based on last system it might get to where it's even more and suck me in.
Lol, maybe we need to create a whining thread on a different website. Just have a place where you can endlessly whine about not getting snow or anything else you whine about.I think we are very close to being able to remove the word Banter from the title of the Banter & Venting Thread....
Perfect! Lol.... I'm deleting any post from here on out that announces what model is rolling, trolling whatever. Unless it's someone that is going to give pbp with the Euro b/c they have access and are willing to share, they have a free passGFS is rolling!! Is this the right thread???![]()
Almost as good as Icon is the new Euro! Critical input in the main thread! SMDHGreat input

I am extremely salty as I have just come to the realization that there is only one way I can score a snowstorm in my neck of the woods. Miller A or bust. But mostly bust
Edit: just realized someone will probably argue with me saying that this storm is a Miller A but I'm talking classic Miller A firing out of the gulf. Not this crap
There's just no way we can get snow from this set up, book that!I am extremely salty as I have just come to the realization that there is only one way I can score a snowstorm in my neck of the woods. Miller A or bust. But mostly bust

I think the lack of -nao over recent years has kinda hurt your area. No basis to back that up but just thinking about it you really need a system moving ene out of the gulf to the SC coast and it's hard to get that without a -naoI am extremely salty as I have just come to the realization that there is only one way I can score a snowstorm in my neck of the woods. Someone else will have to check to be sure, but wasn't 1/28/14 more overrunning then a traditional Miller A? I played around with the meteocentre thing and saw that there was a L, but it wasn't one that came from the gulf.
Yes, much like the early December snow storm.

Well, my thought was right. Early December didn't work out well for my hometown but I did get to see snow from it later since I was traveling but 1/28/14 had what I want to say was two inches of snow in my hometown? (which like I have said before, I was in NW Georgia at that time)
So overrunning can work but it's not a big boy type of storm.
Got some maps? I'm curious to see if they were driven by west coast ridgesKeeping in mind that I'm one who thinks that a -NAO is overrated for how crucial it is for SE major snow, the 2/1967, 3/1980, and 2/1989 Columbia multi-inch snowfalls fell when there was a west based +NAO both the day of and 5 days before.
Completely whiffed on that. Thanks!
Shouldn't have won last night lolzHow bout them Tarheels !
