Misc General Banter Thread

Hypothetically if the euro is right. Trying to decide if I want to potentially witness a crippling ice storm in the north ATL metro or head north and see a foot of snow but maybe get stuck for days lol.

Same place here. If it ices up here, we need to stay, if not we may do something crazy…

Definitely a huge shift north on this gfs run with the snow. And to think there’s still 4
More days of possible north shifts. Northern snow weenies are probably licking their chops

I think Georgia to North Carolina are setting themselves up for a major ice storm

Wait. Are you saying we did this to ourselves? Because I had no part in this. Oh no. I have a grinder sewer system and haven’t hooked up a full house generator yet. I want nothing to do with this ice storm mess.

I’ll see yall when I wake up to pee. Seems like we sure aren’t finding much common ground yet

Nickyb saying cmc is actually a decent model! Ice storm on the way!

CMC is ass lol, and it does get very phase happy around this range. The GFS looks more like the ECM ( which we expected anyways) but the CMC is rather extreme with things on the warm end. I doubt.

Still in the middle of the storm and already dropping this on the GEFS . Sheesh

Also, how concerning is the sleet to freezing rain crew here… for instance, if you get 2 inches of sleet, then 0.5 inch of ice… do those totals combine for ice totals/impact? Will sleet get trapped under the freezing rain creating higher accum on trees/Powerlines?
