Misc General Banter Thread

I see what I sounded like last week saying it’ll trend NW when I see all these damn Yankees talking about this storm trending north 😂

I may get upset when I whiff but man I sure love to know they are whiffing. I also will tone it back on my wishcasting after seeing how annoying those northerners sound.

Dude, don’t do that. I thought you had finally started looking at pivotal and checking out the maps that you were posting here. You’ve been running from the American forum with their analysis and posting them here. Why? We post all of the same stuff over here. You could see that if you would slow down and read the discussion thread.

It was a joke. I do look at the maps and the runs. I actually would enjoy doing play by play of the model runs in the discussion thread, but...you know.

Well, I do recall the "official Guidance" specifically saying it was over. More than once. Also the" official guidance" has been way north all day. But having to bend knee, come down south

I was literally just thinking the exact same thing lol. Might be a multiple day span of waking up in the middle of the night and being like “lemme check my phone rq on the latest models”

I like the model run thread, I have lots of questions to try and learn and do not want to ask for fear of being banned in the thread or muted. Would love a place to ask questions to try and learn.

Yes! I think a thread to ask questions about models, soundings, and so forth would prove very helpful. I just hate to have too many threads for yall to as I reckon this forum is about to explode .

We delete the NC only thread and sub for imby thread
 
Yeah I think a model thread would be good and also an official explanation of how the snow turns into ice since I saw that earlier maybe it should be a pinned post or something haha

You could just run a couple of extension cords inside to critical items such as the fridge.

Have to wire it to your main breaker panel unless you get a generac with a transfer switch.
Very easy to do a portable generator and well worth it when you need one.

You have to calculate how many watts the devices you plan on connecting that will be on at the same time. Same with extension cords. 16 ga is the cheapest and will handle things like a microwave. 14ga or 12ga for electric heaters.

For heating, you would be better off getting a propane indoor heater.

I have natural gas and will just use the stove and the antique space heater in my man cave to heat the house.
