I got down to 24.3 degrees at my residence near Lake Wheeler in Wake County this morning. The bottom really dropped out once the wind died down overnight.
Rdus smoothed average starts increasing today through July 9th

yes this is not a safe space. This place will kick you in the teeth. The best/worst is when everyone is tracking a good pattern in the extended as well as a winter storm inside 7 days simultaneously and the models first lose the storm abruptly then they immediately lose the medium and long range pattern. Everyone in here vanishes for weeks only to show back up for a late March/April Hail Mary that never works out. Then we all part ways til next winter. It’s a vicious cycle that needs broken Mitch

I've come to the conclusion that I'm mentally unstable and need help, because I keep coming back to it time and again.
Just goes to show how razor thin (close) we are on these patterns right now but sure let's jump off the ledge bc 162 hour model runs and what not

Weird morning. Even here at the beach we had frost in the shade until 930 then it warmer up really quickly into the 60s

In other news....
Max 34 today with wall to wall sunshine. Wind made it uncomfortable to say the least. Looks like we may flirt with normal high temps Sat. Otherwise we will be below normal next 7 days. No moisture on the horrizon , till we get out to day 9-10 @ the earliest. Unless Sunday does a 180 degree turn back.

They even salted the roads in my neck of the woods. Bold....
frustrating my snow table came out in grayscale but change over around 10am along US1 per the 3K 
Left Winston and came down to Myrtle Beach for the long weekend. Roads were salted the entire way.
