I do like the hornets but the pbp guy is the most annoying announcer in all of sports.

Someone please correct me if I'm missing something. ESPN paid a 💩 ton of money to air this CFB game. The PBP announcers are absolutely abysmal !!

This is their #1 CFB crew lol they might just be exhausted.

Part of this is bitterness, but I really can't get into this one so far myself.

I get it as a GA fan. Not gonna lie, I want the Rebs to win. However, ultimately, I’m for Indiana to win the Natty. They’ve never won. Plus, I really like IN QB Mendoza.
Having said that I’d be cool with the Rebs winning the Natty as my niece just got her teaching degree at Ole Miss. 🙂

So IF IF IF MIA ever actually wins a Natty…. Lookout now that we’re in the NIL era they could get good and stay good very quickly. They’re doing this here this season with with Carson Beck for goodness sakes

I feel like the 12 team playoff has ruined college football for at least me as a traditionalist. We have a 2 loss non conference champion Miami going to the national championship. Used to even in a 4 team playoff you had to have an almost perfect season now you just need to get hot at the right moment. Everything I dislike about pro football is coming to college and that just isn’t for me

How did Indiana get so good so fast ? A couple of years ago they were at the Bottom of the Big 10.
The NCAA transfer portal and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) rules have revolutionized college sports, allowing athletes to transfer schools more easily and profit from their personal brand, fundamentally changing recruiting, team building, and player empowerment by enabling direct financial incentives for transfers and retention.

yeah with NIL college football has totally changed

Funny how the SEC hasn’t won one since NIL was approved! You mean to tell me that since other colleges can pay players they can’t win one! I have to admit though, I was really wanting to see Ole Miss beat Miami just to screw Kiffin! IMO he is what’s wrong with college athletics! People wonder why Saban retired, he saw the writing on the wall!

Easy, NIL, but smart NIL. They bought players, but they bought players who were good teammates and had a lot to prove. There are like three four stars on that team and im sure they just love to show up the primadonna five stars on the other teams. A lot of those guys probably were not even given a look by major D1 schools when they were recruited.

On top of this, they have a dang good coach.

Im sorry call me a hater i despise IU. It is bc it should be NC State or someone else on that 8-4 team level. We have had far better composite talent rosters than what IU does and cant go but 8-4 smh. In 2002 Nc state had on staff, Cignetti, M Diaz and somehow a decade later ended up with the Nissan version of James Franklin. Yet a traditional bottom feeder falls ass backward into the second coming of Saban, I just dont understand HOW theyre doing this bc they shouldnt be any better than us or Duke or UNC ect

I absolutely love Indiana QB Mendoza. His post on field interview gave "All glory to God". Twice !

Such a remarkable and articulate young man.

Regardless, the outcome of the Nattie Monday the 19th vs Miami, I feel he'll do well in the NFL and a broadcast beyond. PTL

Yes I agree. I think he is incredible and is going to do great things in his life. He definitely has the personality to be a broadcaster or whatever else he wants to do.

Big difference in IU coach and Youre coach. Those kids at IU are hungry, bought in and have a good team chemistry. You can see it. He brought a lot of kids with him from jmu. They are a hungry bunch. So kudos to them. Will be hard to sustain year after year, cause of the roster turnover. ESPN , TV drove us to this and created what we have. I have 0 problem with kids getting paid. One thing I despise are these mega conferences. Miss the regional old style. But that aint never coming back.
It was apparent for the past 15-20 years what the end goal was an they accomplished it. The one fly in the ointment the tv exec and Presidents,Ad's, didnt count on, figure in. Was the NCAA being stomped down as the governing body and the booby trap via way of the judicial system that their greed created. I think its funny to sit back and watch them all moan an groan about the monster they created and how its eaten them for lunch now due to the volatility. Reap what you sow. You lie with a dog, you gonna get fleas.

Will NC State win the Acc reg season mbb? Scrolling through tv and see em wearing FSU out. Only 1 game out of1st place. What are the odds? Could this be the year???

Nah they have at least 5 more losses on the schedule
Agreed. We’re only 3 games into conference play. Been far too inconsistent. Blown out by UVA, dissatisfying win against BC. Impressive win against the Noles today though.

Meanwhile about to take the stroll up S Mint into the Bank. Rain seems to be falling apart as it moves this way (as expected). Im sure we’ll get a couple showers, but wind may have a bigger impact, especially on the kicking game.
