He's moving back to the Triangle soon.Yes, I talk about this storm all the time and probably too much. I mean, to date it’s the most snow I’ve seen and had in my yard in person, but you’re correct. While Fishel missed it he definitely does a great job describing how it was missed and as far as that night at 11:00 pm he became very serious about the situation. For me WRAL hasn’t been the same after he left.

I saw that, looked like he had a time selling his property in Myrtle but finally got it done and was coming back to somewhere in that area, undecided where at the point I read the story. He's moving back to the Triangle soon.

Wonder why he is moving back. Not sure how old he is now but would love to see him back on TV in the Triangle again. He's moving back to the Triangle soon.
The story I read was he wanted to be back to be closer to friends.Wonder why he is moving back. Not sure how old he is now but would love to see him back on TV in the Triangle again.
Okay it can chill out now. That's the day before I leave for my non-refundable cruise lol
You likely won't ever see that. He wants to be closer to friends and where it feels like home...and also where there are numerous places of research and education.Wonder why he is moving back. Not sure how old he is now but would love to see him back on TV in the Triangle again.
You should sign contracts more oftenSd signs contract to build house, models trend cold and snowy. Yep
We would have to have more board fundraisersYou should sign contracts more often
And many people won’t be happy. That’s how winter works in the south. Many people on the board are going to be happy by the end of January.
My last 2 big snow storms of 8 and 7 inches came after absolute torches in December with big tornado outbreaks to end the heat. Booth times we had a huge snow within 7 days of the severe weather. We get a warm Christmas and this happens haha
Just to add but this isn't even the first warm one I've seen in Oklahoma and that was the snowiest winter I've seen here View attachment 179879

I’ll take the highs in the 40s and lows in the upper 20s all day everyday over this highs in the upper 60s and lows in lower 60s garbage. This would be fine for spring but not the winter. Thankfully most of December was really cold for these parts and it looks like the heat decided to visit just for Christmas weekAnd then there are people like myself that prefer cold (I mean the SE version) whenever I can get it. To me crisp, dry Canadian air feels so good. I love being out in it. It energizes me. Besides, wintry precip hardly ever occurs way down here. A majority of winters here have had none and many of the ones that do just have a trace. I had zero wintry precip for the 7 years between the big 2018 and 2025 winter storms. The cold is usually too dry for precip here. It’s obviously much easier for cold to get down here.
I can stay away! You likely won't ever see that. He wants to be closer to friends and where it feels like home...and also where there are numerous places of research and education.
