12/8/2025 Event - Repeat of Last Week?

Our Frost has slushed up an Temp risen to 33. Up by airport it's 36. Guess clouds rolled in after midnight and pinged enough heat back down to the surface, to wipe out the early evening surface gains. Good luck to those of you that get to see the flakes falling today. Post some pics

In Forsyth county there has been two teenage drivers to die in past 20 years where they didn’t cancel school and should have at least had a delay due to black ice. Since then they have cancelled when they shouldn’t have.
 
It's on, sprinkles, and 37 . Maybe I can rise to 40 before it starts falling, that way it will take longer to mix with snow, and all the moisture can be mostly gone ... That's how it works in the N. footheaters of NC #wensnowhere

EDIT- Raining pretty good now.

34 and now a mix of heavy wet flakes. Also Virginia Tech canceled classes which is really odd. Especially when it’s raining right now and everything is just wet. They didn’t cancel classes for the last event and have also not canceled class for a 6 inch snowstorm a few years ago….

If it takes longer to switch over, you'll appreciate it more. Just kidding. You just want the rates to increase, and you'll get the snow (..I think).
 
The HRW FV3 is outperforming most guidance right now, we already have stuff blossoming and hitting the ground around Charlotte, and it actually had the exact feature, right on the money at 7am from its 00z run, other then it being a tad to warm in spots, it’s outperforming most other CAMS animated.gifIMG_0599.png
