Misc General Banter Thread

I'm starting to hate this hobby between this and all the people who act like this weather has never happened before or as I read last night that "they remember it snowing most years around Halloween" 😂 🤣 🤣

Definitely was NOT anywhere near this state
The weather for the next 10 days in Tulsa is Ridiculous. I can understand a couple days here and there with temps well above normal, but 10 straight days ? What is going on ?

I am going to be 100% right. This event is over and we will not be getting anything from the tropical system either so now we will be dry here probably through all of October and maybe November. Drought will 100% be the big story for most of the southeast this fall.

No rain in sc until 2026

It’s like when people claim that it snowed all the time or White Christmases were commonplace in their childhood. That just hasn’t been true for anywhere but a narrow part of the country over the last 100+ years (and likely longer, maybe since the ice age, LOL). People just remember a White Christmas or two and superimpose that over their entire childhood. It may be true that White Christmases are less common than they used to be for some, but they were never common in the first place!

Right I don't know what expect here... I mean yes our climate is still a little better than where I grew up in Alabama but like at the end of the day we're still a days drive from the Gulf of Mexico... It's amazing to me we can even get down below zero in the winter with some regularity! 😂

I think Tulsa has only had like 12 White Christmases ever and half of them are a trace! Not great

I haven't even see more than a dusting here before January since I moved in 2021
