Well, my heart and soul age is 18-25, my real age is 52, but my joints feel 80+ some days. My effective age is how I feel that day.

Getting old beats the alternative!Why is it ever since I crossed the 50 threshold a few yrs back the wheels started falling off. Numerous (nothing major so far PTL) medical issues, one after the other.... not complaining just stating fact and why I'm so sparse these daysWhile getting old sucks, at least I'm getting old I guess

Oh yeah sometimes I feel like an old man for sure. It's gotten a lot more obvious since I turned 35
I might be the old man on this forum as my avatar suggests at sixty. Like you, my age is how I feel, not a numerical value. Everything still works well physically but my energy level isn't what it was at thirty. I just thank the good Lord that I have lived this long without any problems in spite of some of the crazy things I used to do. My wife will tell you that I still have the mind of a child in spite of my years.

As a kid in the 70s who played with lighting bugs and rocks near the creek todays life is crazy. I am glad I'm not young with all this tech. IM a old soul and miss the hard times because it made us men and made our moms and wives women. Not political by any means its just different.

The years of lifting weights has benefitted me but my joints have taken a toll. I have no clue how the extreme heavy lifters have been able to do it all their lives and still stand.

94L is going out to sea or will stall just offshore. Upstate SC will not get 1 drop out of it. If it does not rain here tonight, we are done for a very long time. The big weather story in the southeast west of I-77 for the next 2 months will be a major drought.
