Misc Cold Season Complaining

Has anyone here ever had or know of someone who’s had plantar fasciitis? If so, how long did it last before the heel was back to normal and what was done to help it heal?

I knew a guy who slept in a sort of boot to keep his feet at a 90 degree angle to his legs while he slept. It took a few months but it helped. The doctor also said to always wear some sort of shoe or slipper; even around the house.

Yes I had it, really bothered me after basketball the next morning each time I played. My arches were killing me. I put arch supports, cushions in my shoes and I haven’t really had a problem since. I’ve got them in all my shoes now. I’m sure everyone is different but it worked for me.

Each time I had it it took a day or two for the heel muscle to heal. The arch support stopped it.
