It never ceases to amaze me how you get more melting from 60 degrees in the shade than you do in in 30 degrees with sunshine. Still got a few full shaded spots here with a fair chunk of snow left. There’s a house at the end of my street with near full coverage in their shaded front yard.

Wish I lived in the house at the end of the street. They get nearly complete shade this time of year with the trees behind them. Still holding on to solid snow cover tonight even after today’s torch.

Found a couple patches left imby this evening
Clinging for life this morning
Looks like today’s heat zapped the last bit of shaded snow cover left. Still got a few remnants of shaded plow piles around,
I found about a 2’ by 2’ pile of snow 2” tall at Dix park today

There is three piles top of west deck on campus, one of em prolly is gone now so its 2.
