Pattern December, Make analogs relevant again

The system is going to cut no doubt. Maybe, just maybe some area's in the SE US region will score some snow showers/flurries on the back edge of the moisture.

12z gfs much faster vs previous runs with the energy middle of next week
Looks like a dumpster fire for most, but that 1048 over the lakes moving with the storm, could still make a major CAD event

I don't know doubt it plows through that high, CAD signature

This is absolutely ridiculous! How can the GFS be that wrong!? That model is total trash! Hot us hyped up for nothing. Eric Webber wins this round! SMH!

We've seen it before a cut through of a low into and through a wedge. It was a few years back , but it happened! But that look verbatim, would be a big time CAD event, if temps were there!

This run torches us Wednesday
GFS goes from a SER on roids with a torchmas, to no ser quick frontal passage and cold to if it blast it through here any faster we will still torch Christmas bc the shot of cold will be so quick.... what?? Goofus at it's best

Um yeah... GFS is notorious for cutting right thru a wedge...

While at upper levels the MLL and ULL can, but the SFC low will be forced to redevelop or move under the wedge. Been thru that time and time again.

For this particular run (as we know the next one will have a completely different look), that's an incoming classic CAD signal.

The system can cut with a strong high pressure like that. It's not like the core of the highest pressure is extending further south. The system after the Christmas system is our winter storm.

Which one is it ??? Earlier you said it’s the system after the system that’s after the christmas system ( which by the way there is no christmas system)

In a true CAD/wedge situation, cold air whether firmed entrenched or in-situ east of the Appalachains will force the SFC low around to the south of the wedge or redevelop into a new SFC low (alas Miller B). What you can see is a primary SFC low go up the western side of the apps but energy transfer will force a redevelopment generally offshore of Hatteras in many cases

That’s what I’ve been saying so days. New Years time frame is our storm. Glad someone else see that too.

( that storm can dissolve as well but looks as of now to the the best chance).

There is so much potential in the next coming weeks and important that we don’t get caught up on any one solution right now.

Everyone there’s no need to panic. We will score on one of these system. It is actually more climatology favorable toward the end of the decemeber.

Seen it many times where models "catch up" and shift sfc low south and east around the dome of cold air. Not saying that will happen here but it is the rare occasion you see trends SE instead of NW

Correct, there's no Christmas system. Yes, I said that there could be a Christmas system days ago, things change. It's better to be cautious/aware of something that could turn out to be something significant, whether it turns out to be right or wrong. The system after Christmas (the cutter) would be the one to watch out for.
