Well the La Nina is dead so there's that. We will see how fast El Nino builds in but a neutral season could still be plenty interesting if it doesnt. Obviously very early right now but just to see the La Nina gone is news since it's been around the last 3 seasons

Freddy is finally making his final landfall......hopefully. This system has been around since off the NW coast of Australia

Hopefully this stretch of coast in Australia is very desolate. They got a monster brewing if the JWTC is correct.

Aint no way this story can be correct. Heading into big El Nino? Am I missing something here

Yeah I wouldn’t expect things to be very active this year with an El Niño starting. Just looking at past years going into El Niño, it would appear that 8-10 named storms should be expected

The systems would have to be early in the season and homegrown and not off Africa. If anything it's going to a front loaded season. I think average to below average season.
